[plant morphology] Cardamine dahurica, also known as white flower mustard.
Perennial herbs, 30-80 cm high. Rhizome slender, up to 20 cm. Stem erect, unbranched, longitudinally grooved and pubescent. The stem has several odd pinnate compound leaves, 8.5-10 cm in length, 2-3 pairs of leaflets. The terminal leaflets are broadly lanceolate, 4-6 cm in length, 1-9 cm in width, serrated at the edge, densely short bristles at the bottom when young. The lateral leaflets are sessile at the upper part and short petiole at the lower part. The petiole is 1.5-6 cm long. Raceme terminal, elongated after anthesis: pedicel about 6 mm long; flowers white, 5-8.5 mm in diameter. Long horned fruit strip, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1.5 mm wide, persistent style 3-5 mm long, valves with scattered bristles; pedicel nearly straight, 1 cm long. Seeds ovate, 2 mm long, chestnut brown.
Born in the shady and wet place on the hillside. It is distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Sichuan, northeast and North China.
