[plant morphology] Adiantum flagelliforme
Perennial herbs, 15-36 cm high. The rhizome is erect with dark chestnut lanceolate scales at the top. The leaves are clustered, papery, with sparse multicellular long bristles on both sides; the petioles are chestnut, with dense hairs, and the rachis is occasionally with sparse hairs; the leaves are linear lanceolate, 10-30 cm long and 2-4 cm wide, the lower part is pinnate, the top of the rachis usually extended into flagellum, and the top of the rachis takes root; the pinnae are diagonal rectangular or sub triangular, only the upper edge is deeply split into many narrow lobes; the veins are fan-shaped Fork.
