Personage introduction
Yuangong, the son of yuanbaoju, Emperor Wen of the Western Wei Dynasty, has an unknown mother. In April of the 16th year of Datong (550), Yuan Gong was granted the title of king of Wu, and his brother Yan Wang Yuanru was granted the title of King on the same day.

The fifth volume of northern history, Wei Benji: in April of the 16th year, the prince was granted the title of King Yan for Confucianism and King Wu for Duke.
