Ji is upset
My heart is broken? (545 BC) surnamed Ji, named Xie Xin, is the son of King Jian of Zhou Dynasty, the 11th generation monarch of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, who reigned for 27 years. He has two sons: the crown prince (Ji Jin) and the second son (Ji GUI).
Life of the characters
During the reign of the empress of Zhou Ling, the state power of Zhou Dynasty was declining day by day, and the prestige of the emperor was declining day by day. The vassal states expanded their power through war, and the great vassal states ignored Zhou Jun. The powerful countries have conquered the weak countries, years of wars have been going on, and people's livelihood has been suffering.
In July 546 BC, the officials of the state of song made an alliance between Jin and Chu in Shangqiu, the capital of the state of song, to mediate the war between the two countries. The powerful officials of Jin, Chu, song, Lu, Wei, Chen, Zheng, Cao, Xu and Cai all joined the alliance. The alliance agreed to stop the war among the countries, to regard Jin and Chu as the common overlord, and to divide the hegemony equally. This Congress was called "the alliance of eliminating soldiers" in history.
In the more than 10 years after the alliance, because the state of Chu focused on dealing with the state of Wu, and the state of Jin was too busy dealing with internal affairs to fight, the 10 countries that participated in the alliance did not have a war. However, the struggle for power within countries is extremely acute.
"The alliance of eliminating soldiers" became the watershed between the two periods of the spring and Autumn period. Before the alliance, it was mainly the annexation between the vassal states, but after the alliance, it was mainly the annexation among the officials in various countries. Great changes are brewing in the societies of various countries, and the class contradictions are becoming more and more acute. For example, in 555 BC, zikong, the ruling Minister of the state of Zheng, was autocratic, and the people were dissatisfied. Under the leadership of Zizhan and Zixi, zikong was attacked and killed. In the same year, Li bigong, the king of the state of Ju, tyrannized the people and killed him in anger. In 550 BC, the Qing family of the nobility of the state of Chen forced the common people to build the city. During the construction of the city, the splint fell off. The Qing family, who supervised the construction of the city, punished the common people by killing them. The "servicemen" were angry and held a riot, killing the big and small supervisors led by Qinghu and Qingyin respectively. The uprising frightened the nobles of Chen state, and they exclaimed that they could not rule any more.
Ji Jin, Ji's frustrated eldest son, is smart in nature and likes to play Sheng. He can play music like the song of the Phoenix, which is intoxicating. Ji disheartened, very fond of him, made him prince. Unexpectedly, when the prince was 20 years old, he suddenly fell ill and died. Ji was very sad. It is said that some people at that time saw that King Ling was so sad and worried that it would damage his health. They used superstition to make up a plot to comfort him, saying that the prince was riding a white crane and blowing a Sheng on the gully ridge. He asked the farmer to tell the king that he didn't have to worry about it for the moment. Now he lives in Mount Song with the immortal Lord Fu Qiu, and he is very happy. Ji was upset, but she missed the prince even more. She was restless day and night and in a trance. Late one night in November 545 B.C., Ji fell asleep and dreamt that the prince was riding a white crane to meet him. When he woke up, he said, "my son has come to meet me. I should go." So the order was passed on to his second son, Ji GUI. GUI Si day, Ji Xie heart disease death. Ji GUI ascended the throne as king of Zhou Jing.
