He still returned to Longtan as a primary school teacher, determined to study Chinese by himself. She married Ms. Zhang Jiumei at the age of 26. Like Taiwan compatriots of his generation, he was educated in Japanese during the period of Japanese imperialism. No matter reading, talking, thinking and writing, his mind was filled with Japanese vocabulary. At the time of Taiwan's recovery, he was 20 years old. With strong perseverance, he began to learn the language of his motherland at the age of 20. He began to learn from Bai Jia Xing, San Zi Jing and you Xue qionglin. When he came across a word he didn't know, he came to Kangxi dictionary, because his spoken language was dialect and his pronunciation couldn't be cut out. Having initially mastered the language of the motherland, he began to dabble in some Chinese classical literary masterpieces and new literary works since the May 4th movement. Through reading, he gradually has his own desire to write. At the beginning, he drew up a draft in Japanese, then translated it into Chinese, and wrote down the earliest works in this way; later, he gradually got used to thinking in Japanese, and then wrote in Chinese; finally, he reached the goal of thinking in Chinese, and then wrote directly in Chinese.

In 1951, he published his first article "after marriage" in free talk magazine. Since then, he has written more than 20 million words in his life. Among them, the works with the most literary value and historical value are the "Turbid current Trilogy" (turbid current, thousands of miles of rivers and mountains, flowing clouds) and the "Taiwanese Trilogy" (sinking, cangming's journey, and the song of inserting Tianshan).
Lu Binghua, the first novel published in 1960. In 1989, a film of the same name, directed by Yang Guoli and written by Wu nianzhen, was released. In that year, Jennie covered the song of the same name at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, linking up the common feelings of both sides of the Strait, which is still the common memory of generations on both sides of the Strait.
In April 1951, he wrote his first novel "after marriage" and posted it to "free talk" magazine, which was soon published and greatly encouraged. Since then, he has been diligent in writing. In 1961, he completed his first novel Lu Binghua, and in the same year, the first turbid current of turbid current trilogy was published in Central Daily. "Lu Binghua" is similar to "juvenile novel", and has won the Chinese literary and art medal and many awards. Compared with the momentum of the big river in turbid current, it belongs to a trickle. The turbid current Trilogy (turbid current, mountains and rivers, flowing clouds) is about the Japanese experience of the first generation of postwar writers. It reveals that the past of Taiwanese life at that time was full of bitterness, humiliation, suffering and frustration; the future of life was also confused and uneasy because of the political shock He tried to break through the confusion, pursue the dependence of settling down and reclaim the wasteland of this spiritual region.
comment
After 1974, he taught in the Department of Oriental languages of Soochow University. After 1976, he also served as editor in chief of Taiwan literature and art, chairman of Wu zhuoluiu literature award, editor in chief of supplement of people's daily, etc. Zhong Zhaozheng inherited the simple and healthy realism tradition of Taiwan's new literature predecessors. His works are rooted in the land of Taiwan, with deep national feelings and strong local color. With his novels, he created a fresh and simple national style and local flavor for Taiwan's local literature. Zhong Zhaozheng is an enterprising writer. He is not satisfied with his skillful realist techniques of expression. He also boldly absorbs and uses various techniques of expression, including modern western novels, to enrich the artistic expression of literature. The composition of Zhongyuan is based on the ancient sacrificial scenes of Zhongyuan. It uses time and space interlacing technique to show the subconsciousness of the characters, pays attention to the analysis and disclosure of the characters' mentality, shows the protagonist amu's painful experience, and accuses the Taiwan compatriots of the spiritual trauma left by the Japanese invasion war. Reincarnation explores the mysterious realm of life and death. The novel starts with the wonderful dream of an old man suffering from gastric cancer and dying. It depicts the ugly selfishness and nostalgia of life of the old man before he dies. At the same time, the psychological world of his wife, children and neighbors around the old man is also subtly revealed. Zhong Zhaozheng's another short story, the song of the white plume, uses a novel symbolism to reflect Taiwan's industrial pollution and ecological environment problems with the inner monologue and flow of consciousness of the white plume, which gives people a refreshing feeling and shows the author's outstanding artistic talent. He is a prolific writer.
