Meng Zhen

Born in 1939 in Fushan, Shanxi Province. He studied in Taiyuan Teachers College in 1959. He was a former teacher in Erfengshan mine of Lingang, now retired. He is a member of Chinese peasant painting and Calligraphy Research Association. He has been engaged in fine arts teaching for many years. Now he retires at home and studies calligraphy, painting and seal cutting after work. In 1986, he joined Qi Baishi Art Institute to study Chinese painting. After graduation, he joined Qi Baishi Art Research Association and Chinese farmers' calligraphy and Painting Research Association in the same year.

Meng Zhen, a native of niaocheng (now Huzhou in Zhejiang Province), was named Yujian, which was later written in the form of a Chinese character. He was born in the name of Jisheng and named Tianze. He is good at flowers and birds, especially green landscape, and works with Wu Tinghui. In the third year of TAIDING (1326), the painting of flowers and birds was made. In the 12th year of Zhizheng reign (1352), Si'an TU was made. Meng Zhen, a collection of famous Chinese paintings collected by Wu Chengzhi and other countries, has been fond of painting and calligraphy since childhood. For many years, she has been devoted to painting and calligraphy, studying and inheriting the traditional painting foundation diligently, and paying attention to the innovation of art and the improvement of artistic conception. She has her own unique views on painting and calligraphy seal cutting As a result, his works have won many awards and become well-known in the painting world. His ink treasures have been collected by many art units or individuals.
