Huang Chaoran
Huang Chaoran (1236-1296), a native of rouchuan (today's Yutou township), was born in Shouyun. Cai Meng, a scholar in kindergarten, said that studying and exploring the essence and mystery of ancient books is not a quaint thing.
Later, he and Che Ruoshui studied the theory of nature and the book of changes from Wang Bai, a Confucian classics scholar, and wrote 20 volumes of the book of changes. At the end of Song Dynasty, "Xiang Gong" was recommended twice. After the death of the Song Dynasty, he founded a private school and studied far and near. It is stipulated that students should get up immediately after crowing, study behind closed doors until noon, and not be allowed to meet and handle affairs. We are tireless in educating and producing a group of talents. In his later years, his living room was like a snail's house, and there were hundreds of bamboo plants in front of his door. He was named the Western Qing Dynasty Taoist temple, and later generations called him one of the top ten Confucians in Taizhou in the Southern Song Dynasty. Yuanzhen died in 1296 at the age of 61. He is the author of 10 volumes of Western Qing Dynasty anthology, Shi Hua Bi Tan, geographical summary and Ning Shen Hui Li. In the early Ming Dynasty, Fang Xiaoru went to rouchuan to write a preface to Huang's genealogy. 1. Xiang Gong, a non county student, who has passed the provincial examination, is recommended to take part in the local examination.
