Li bamboo slips (June 30, 1747 to December 3, 1799) were written in the form of bamboo slips for the people. Li Jian was born in Shunde, Guangdong Province. His father came to Nanning to do business and married Lei's daughter.

Li Jian was born in Nanning, Guangxi Province on May 23, 1747. When he was young, he traveled between Guangdong and Guangxi. Because he loved the victory of Dongqiao (Luofu) and Xiqiao in Guangdong Province, he was named Erqiao. He also took the meaning of peak 432 in Dongqiao and peak 72 in Xiqiao, and named the living room "54 peak hall". Li Jian has a sincere disposition and does not admire fame and wealth. People all over the world are crazy about it, so they call themselves "crazy Jian".

In 1789, he was going to attend the imperial examination. Because his father died, he did not attend the examination. Li Jian is versatile. He is good at painting and calligraphy. He is good at seal cutting and is known as the "four wonders".

He had never been an official in his whole life. He lived a poor life by selling paintings, articles and teaching halls. He once lived in CIDU temple in Guangzhou. Bamboo was planted around his residence, which is called bamboo peace hall. The middle-aged village is called Baihua village. The pavilion is called Zhongxiang Pavilion, yaoyan hall and wubai peak. Yuan Mei was famous all over the world at that time. She came to Guangzhou for a visit, but she was turned away by Li Jian, which caused a sensation in the poetry world. When Weng Fanggang was a student of politics in Guangdong, he didn't take office in Guangzhou. He first dreamed of Erqiao, which was even more well-known. Four unique

Li bamboo slips, known as the "four wonders" of poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing, played a positive role in the development of Lingnan poetry and influenced the Central Plains. Although he never left Lingnan in his whole life, he was famous for his poems and paintings in the Central Plains in his middle age. His poems are unique for their new situation, strange sentences, deep meaning and true feelings. However, this outstanding poet had no place in the history of Chinese literature for a long time. It was not until after the reform and opening up that he attracted the attention of authoritative literature researchers and was included in the history of Chinese literature. His works include poetry notes of wusifengtang, sequel of wusifengtang, CI notes of yaoyange, opera Furong Pavilion, etc.

The poem starts with learning from Li He and Huang Tingjian, deliberately seeking innovation, and is extremely "precipitous and clear" (Wang Chang's biography of lake and sea poems). According to Zhang Weiping's "a brief introduction to the poets of the national Dynasty", his poems are from the valley (Huang Tingjian) to Du, refined in Daxie (Lingyun), vigorous in Changli (Hanyu), secluded in Changji (Lihe), gorgeous in Yuxi (Li Shangyin), thin in Dongye (Mengjiao) and secluded in LANGXIAN (Jiadao). As a result, it became the poem of Erqiao. There are many books about his travels and presents. Many poems depict the landscapes and places of interest in Guangdong and Guangxi, such as Tengxian, baimajiao, Longmen beach, Yongzhou, Baihe Temple climbing on the jade girl peak in Wulongtan, Chongxu temple to Zhuming cave, Yuri Pavilion, Jiaoyuan song on the South Bank of the river, etc. There are also a few chapters reflecting the sufferings of the people, such as Tanaka song, reflecting the customs of ethnic minorities, such as Song Festival, 38 rhymes of Da Pai, etc.

In his calligraphy, he was willing to pursue Jin people. In his middle age, he also studied Li Beihai. In his later years, he wrote more about Su and Huang families. In the early years, Li Jian's brushwork was rough and straightforward, focusing on the performance of sketching from life, which mostly imitated the Guangdong sages in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In middle age, copying the works of Ni Yunlin and Shi Tao can almost reach the same level as the original works. Seeking from near to far, integrating ancient and modern, innovating, learning from predecessors, not limited to predecessors, has always been the main line of landscape painting creation followed by Li Jian. Under the guidance of this consciousness, the works created naturally have a fresh and lively feeling. Moreover, because he took the techniques of Yuan people who had no "sweet Lai" spirit and Shi Tao who "searched all the strange peaks to make a draft" as the keynote of his creation, and also had the smoothness and gentleness of the art of Qianlong's heyday, Li Jian's landscape painting, which challenged the mainstream school, was a new shock to those who had been shocked by the personalized flower and bird paintings of the eight monsters in Yangzhou.

Although Li Jian's seal cutting is a part of his poetry, calligraphy and painting, he has a deep foundation of traditional culture and quick thinking.
