Zheng Liang
Zheng Liang, born in the Zheng family of Cixi, is a scholar of eastern Zhejiang historiography school in the early Qing Dynasty.
During the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, Ningbo was full of talents and scholars. Scholars not only write books, but also raise funds to carve books. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Zheng Liang engraved "Nan Lei Wen Bi", "Han Cun Quan Ji", "Han Cun Za Lu", "Yue Dian" and so on. Zheng Xing, the son of Zheng Liang, was a disciple of Huang Zongxi. In accordance with the will of his father Zheng Liang, Zheng Xing built a second elder Pavilion beside his home to commemorate his predecessor Li Zhou and his grandfather Zheng Qin. Erlaoge is a famous library in Ningbo in Qing Dynasty, and it is also the private school of Zheng's book carving. Many books were engraved in Zheng Xing's erlaoge from Kangxi to Qianlong, such as Jiang Chenying's Zhanyuan undecided manuscript, pan Pingge's Panzi Qiuren collection, Huang Zongxi's Ming Confucianism case, Zheng Liang's Hancun collection, and Nanxi puppet magazine. Zheng Xun, the great grandson of Zheng Xing, was a regular calligrapher and named Jian Xiang. He learned from Jiang Xueyong and was the direct descendant of the eastern Zhejiang School. During the reign of Qian and Jia, there were Huang Zongxi's records of waiting to visit Ming Yi, Zheng Liang's manuscript of Mr. mianzhai, Yang Jian's stone fish and Feng Yuanzhong's collection of Tianyi mountain hall. In a word, there are seven or eight dynasties and more than 140 years of history before and after Zheng's book carving. The main contents are Huang Zongxi's literature and Zheng's works.
