Character review
——Art Park wizard Guan Yousheng
Mr. Guan Yousheng is a famous calligrapher and painter in Shandong Province and one of the founders of Shandong painting school. In the 1960s and 1970s, his painting and calligraphy works once guided and influenced the creative style and characteristics of a generation of students. Therefore, he is an important artist in our province.
Guan Yousheng, known as Guan Jiyi, was born in a merchant's family. He did not worship a famous family as a teacher when he was young, but studied painting with his elder brother Guan Songping. However, his rich life and rich family business provided him with a reliable economic foundation for his study of calligraphy and painting. The rich art collection at home also created a unique learning environment for him, enabling him to see the world's famous paintings and copy all his masterpieces, which laid a good foundation for his later artistic career.
Guan Yousheng studied calligraphy and painting very hard. Under the influence of his elder brother, he had been accompanied by literati for a long time, so he was omnipotent in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, poetry, song and Fu. In his early years, he studied four books and five classics, Tang poetry and Song poetry under the guidance of Yang qianzhai, a scholar who was proficient in classical literature and poetry, and laid a good literary foundation. Later, Wang Jipu and Wang Xiangsun, who graduated from Peking University, studied English, literature and history, which broadened his horizons and increased his knowledge.
At that time, there was a house in Jinan City, which used to be the residence of Guan family for generations. It was called "YingYuan". The name comes from a stone tablet in the courtyard, on which Wu rangzhi, a scholar of Qing Dynasty, wrote the word "YingYuan" in seal script. Guan Yousheng liked these two words very much, so he named the house "Yinyuan" and named it "yinyuanzhu". He also made a seal for the house. The inscription was "yinyuanzhu", which is often used in writing and painting. In addition, according to the book of songs, he called his word "Yousheng". In this courtyard, there is a library, divided into upper and lower floors, a total of 10 houses, in which there are ink treasures, antiques, literature and history books collected by Guan family. Guan Yousheng has been here all the year round, copying and learning all the famous works of the past dynasties. He started with the "four schools of Yuan Dynasty", then went up to Liang Kai, Ma Yuan, Xia GUI and others in the Song Dynasty, and later studied Shi Tao's true works. In order to open up his own way of painting, he extensively absorbed the style characteristics of the north and the south, and made every effort to be close to the ancient but not to the ancient, from which he formed his own style. As a result, he learned from the ancients both professionally and diligently, often forgetting to eat and sleep
First, the flowers on the street (painting at night) are sleepless at night. When I get up to paint, I am used to adding clothes. The moon shadow and the sound of chickens penetrate through the purple micro flower hall. Who cares for the loneliness? Under the book window, I sit in the deep Xidan with no words, only the solitary lamp accompanies me. Occasionally poetry, suddenly into a fantasy, write a plum tree, God move snow, only shame can't Qiu fierce, jade candle residual, fragrant cold Golden Dragon red charcoal, toad light such as water cold invasion body, group sound silent, far from the sky, envy Jiangnan plum letter, cherish no heroic, then footprints cocoon.
Second: Butterfly love flowers (reading painting occasionally) is not a matter of mind. He is fond of painting and loves Qing and Xiangji. Read to the window to find other fun, smoke out of the boundless. The plain wall wanders far and wide. Copy by hand, book by book. When you enter Huangshan Mountain, you will remember the past, with a wisp of white clouds on your shoulders.
From the above two poems, we can see a calligrapher and painter's tireless learning spirit. Indeed, if not for the diligent study and hard training at that time, how can we get the artistic achievements in the field of calligraphy and painting in the future.
Since the early 1920s, Guan Yousheng and his elder brother Guan Songping have visited Beijing three times. They have visited many famous scholars and places of interest in Beijing, which has opened his eyes. He not only forged a deep friendship with the famous calligraphers and painters in the capital, but also learned literature and poetry under the guidance of Wu Qiuhui, a essayist of Tongcheng school. In this way, he has been sublimated in his literary cultivation and laid a solid foundation for his artistic life.
It's not too much to say that Mr. Guan Yousheng is an artist with "excellent poetry, calligraphy and painting". His painting does not stick to a certain form, often with the heart, has a variety of styles. Whether charming, pungent, dignified or dancing, he can absorb everything in his works and integrate it into the artistic image properly. In calligraphy, he can do everything from Zhen, Cao, Li and Zhuan. In particular, his Zhang Cao has won the charm of the predecessors and is a unique skill in Shandong.
In addition, his poetry is also very excellent. His poems are not delicate and artificial. They are easy to understand and elegant. Moreover, he often writes poems by means of painting, which makes them full of lines and colors. In short, if you want to have a deep understanding of Guan Yousheng's artistic achievements, you also need to appreciate his painting and calligraphy works as well as his poems.
Character evaluation
Yousheng is a lovely person. He is very interesting: at first glance, he is young and mature, fat, and friendly, very gentle. But he had many things in his heart. He is good at singing, playing chess, writing and painting. People with these skills tend to be gifted with long hair and eyes looking at the sky. You Sheng is not like this. He doesn't show any. He's so fat and kind, he doesn't gossip, he doesn't show the style of a famous man, and he doesn't hurt himself by his crazy behavior. He works hard behind his back and doesn't say a word. You'll never know his talent unless you know him very well. If you play a game of chess with him, you'll know he's good, though he doesn't think it's too bad. He is good at landscape painting.
As everyone knows, landscape is the most difficult part in Chinese painting. It's not enough to have real kung fu. You have to have real talent and insight. Strictly speaking, it is neither painting mountains nor water, but drawing the heart's interest and imagination of nature. Not only is the grandeur or leisure of the realm of things derived from the state of mind, but also the beauty of the form of the realm of things is at will. Painting the landscape on the fan is not really a fan mountain in the world, but the creation of mountains, trees, clouds and water on the fan to show some meaning and realm. Painters always create new worlds. Here is the difficulty. If there is nothing in your heart, you can't draw anything.
You Sheng is good at painting mountains and rivers. Naturally, he has real things in his heart. He works hard and sees a lot,
