Character evaluation
Liu Zhenyun has won the Mao Dun Literature Award for his wonderful novels; he is known as "the best screenwriter in China"; his Liu's humor is a bit circuitous and absurd, but there is no lack of warmth -- this "China's most circuitous writer" is no less famous than the movie star. (review of Shandong business daily) combined Atlas
From "Party A and Party B" to "mobile phone", "my name is Liu Yuejin", and then to "review 1942", in a sense, Liu Zhenyun's popularity among readers is finally established by the hegemony of the image. His humanistic standpoint of writing about the sad and sad little people and the bottom of the story, established from "chicken feather in one place", makes the vast majority of readers feel sad and sad. On the surface, Liu Zhenyun's humor is cynical and parochial, but on the inside, it is gentle. The film "mobile phone" presents Feng's humor, not Liu Zhenyun's. To see Liu Zhenyun's humor, we need to read his Tapu, chicken feather in one place, and ten thousand sentences in one sentence. He has considerate and transcendent insight into the bottom society and the world of small people. In fact, his novels revolve around difficulties, such as the plight of ordinary life, the plight of isolation, the plight of communication, and so on. Therefore, he is cynical and ironic, but there are many reasons for this Difficulties also constitute the reality of life for each of us, so we can say that the inside is warm and compassionate. (MA Bing, associate professor and critic of School of literature and journalism, Shandong University)
Liu Zhenyun's humor is probably more buried in the text. His humor is the truth of life captured by complicated language. It is either a bit absurd, or a bit cold, or even a pleasure in pain, self contempt and self abasement. (by critic Zhao yuebin)
