Gong Shaopeng
Gong Shaopeng, male, was born in November 1952. He was admitted to the Department of economics of Beijing Normal University in 1978. After graduation, he entered the school of foreign affairs for further study. In 1983, he received a master's degree in the history of international relations from the school of foreign affairs.
Research direction
Contemporary international relations, Middle East Studies and Asia Pacific Studies. Every year, we recruit master's and doctoral students in Middle East International Relations and Asia Pacific international relations.
Scientific research achievements
He wrote many books, such as the history of the Middle East peace talks, the biography of Perez, international relations after the cold war, running in, and a concise history of international relations. He is the host of the national "Ninth Five Year Plan" social science research project "the impact of policies of regional powers on international politics". In recent years, he has mainly taught doctoral and master's students such courses as "history of modern international relations", "history of postwar international relations", "Post Cold War International Relations", "Asia Pacific Studies", "Middle East Studies" and "methodology of international issues".
