Chen Dengke
Chen Dengke (1919-1998.10.12), male, from Lianshui, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Central Institute of literature in 1950. He joined Lianshui Anti Japanese guerrillas in 1940 and the Communist Party of China in 1945.
Chen Dengke has successively served as a reporter of Yanfu Dazhong daily and Hefei Branch of Xinhua news agency, a student of the Central Institute of literature, vice chairman of Anhui Federation of literary and art circles, chairman of Anhui Branch of China Writers Association, chief editor of Qingming, a large bimonthly literary magazine, the third and fourth directors of China Writers Association, member of the Fourth Committee of China Writers Association, representative of the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and third, fifth, sixth and Seventh National People's Congress Representatives.
Chen Dengke began to publish his works in 1938 and joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1949.
