Wang Shixiong

Wang Shixiong, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1965 in Fu'an, Fujian Province. He joined the work in August 1985. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and holds an in-service university degree from the Central Party school.

He is now a member of the Standing Committee of Ningde Municipal Party committee and vice mayor of Fujian Province.

From September 1983 to July 1985, he studied in the Chinese Department of Ningde Teachers College;

Since September 1993, he has successively served as secretary of the municipal Party committee of Fu'an League, Secretary of the Party committee of Xiwei Town, and Secretary of the Party committee of Xibing town (during which he participated in the correspondence study of the undergraduate class of foreign economy major of the Central Party school from August 1995 to December 1997);

Since November 1998, he has successively served as member of the Standing Committee of Fu'an municipal Party committee, Secretary of Xibing town Party committee and director of the municipal Party committee office;

Since October 2003, he has successively served as Deputy Secretary of Fuan municipal Party committee, director of Fuan municipal Party committee office, Secretary of Education Working Committee and executive vice mayor of Fuan municipal government;

Since September 2009, he has been deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Dongqiao Development Zone, Ningde City, Fujian Province;

He has been Secretary of Jiaocheng District Party Committee since June 2011;

In July 2015, he served as deputy mayor and member of the Party group of Ningde Municipal People's government;

In September 2016, he served as member of the Standing Committee of Ningde Municipal Party committee.

Appointment and removal information

On July 11, 2015, Jiaocheng District held a meeting of leading cadres of the whole district. Comrade Wang Shixiong no longer held the post of member, standing committee member and Secretary of Jiaocheng District Committee of the Communist Party of China.

On July 14, 2015, the 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of the third Ningde Municipal People's Congress approved the appointment of Wang Shixiong as vice mayor of Ningde Municipal People's government.

In September 2016, Wang Shixiong was elected to the fourth Standing Committee of Ningde Municipal Party committee.

On October 28, 2016, the 37th meeting of the Standing Committee of the third Ningde Municipal People's Congress approved the removal of Wang Shixiong from the post of vice mayor of Ningde Municipal People's government.
