Quliang City
Quliang City, also known as Quliang City, began in the spring and Autumn period and belongs to the state of Jin. Its former site is pingbao village, Luqiao Township, Guantao County, Hebei Province. According to Guantao County annals, in the fifth year of King Ding of Zhou Dynasty (602 BC), the Yellow river changed its course at suxukou and flowed through today's Guantao area. The Yellow River is often overflowing in Guantao. Coupled with the detour of ancient zhangshui and Weishui, the area of Guantao includes Quliang, Nanqu, Quzhou, Jize and so on. It can be said that the river is crisscross. This is the origin of the place name "Quliang city".
Quliang County
Quliang County, established at the beginning of the Western Han Dynasty, belongs to Guangping state (county). It is located in Guangfu Town, Yongnian County, Hebei Province. In Xinmang, it was renamed Zhiliang. After the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was renamed Quliang, belonging to Wei county. In 221, Quliang county was changed into Guangping county. In 556, Quliang county was transferred to guangnian county (now Gucheng village, Yongnian County, Hebei Province), and guangnian county was transferred to Quliang (now Guangfu Town, Yongnian County, Hebei Province).

In the second year of Yuankang (64bc) of the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Jing, the son of Liu Yan, the king of pingganqing, was granted the title of marquis an of Quliang, and the Marquis state of Quliang was established to govern the south of Jize County, Handan City, Hebei Province.
