Xin Yi, born in August 1960 in Zhangqiu County, Shandong Province, is a doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor. Director of the contemporary Chinese history teaching and research section of the Department of CPC history, School of Marxism, Renmin University of China, vice president of the Research Institute of CPC history and theory, Renmin University of China, special researcher of the Research Society of CPC history, and vice chairman of the trade union of Renmin University of China (Part-time).
