Liang Zhongshu then arrested Lu Junyi and put him in prison. After Lu Junyi was arrested, he was sentenced to death row.

Li Gu bribes Cai Fu and Cai Qing to kill Lu Junyi in prison. However, they admire Lu Junyi and do not do so. Chai Jin also visited Cai Fu and Cai Qing to ask for a lot of money from the rescuers. Besides, Cai Fu and Cai Qing used the money from Chai Jin to get Lu Junyi to get rid of the death penalty and changed his sentence to be an assassin. After Song Jiang got gangrene during the war, Wu Yong took the place of Song Jiang to fight against Daming mansion for three times during the Lantern Festival. In the same period, Gong Kai recorded the names and nicknames of the 36 people in Song Jiang for the first time, including Lu Junyi.
