Anfeng Town, subordinate to Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the north wing of the Yangtze River Delta. It is one of the key towns in China in 2014. It is also a key town in Jiangsu Province and a key small town in Taizhou city. It was built in the middle of Tang Dynasty, and is known as "Xingdong blessed land" in history. Anfeng town is located between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River and in the hinterland of Lixiahe area in the middle of Jiangsu Province. Anfeng ancient town is located 36 kilometers northeast of Xinghua City. The Haigou river flows from east to west, and Tanggang river flows from north to south. Historical evolution

From 1572 A.D. to 1575 A.D., Li Anren, the county magistrate of Xinghua, made great contributions to the construction and development of Anfeng town. In order to commemorate his achievements of "serving as an official and benefiting one side", he also called Anfeng Anren township.

At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Liu Renjie, a former marshal in charge of the army, surrendered to Xu Da, a general under Zhu Yuanzhang, and was appointed as the commander of the qianhusuo in Xinghua. After the founding of the Ming Dynasty, Liu Renjie went down in history for his active participation in the construction of Xinghua brick wall. So far, Xinghua City has preserved two Ming city walls with a total length of about 400 meters (one is about 100 meters to the north of the main hall of Dongyue Temple, and the other is about 300 meters to the north of the gate of the municipal power supply bureau, from the small east gate to the blacksmith lane of beishuiguan).
