Main achievements
Achievements in scientific research
Academician Zhang is mainly engaged in the fields of machine proof, educational mathematics, distance geometry and power system. The main contributions are as follows: (1) an area solving method is proposed and applied to the research of machine proof, which makes a breakthrough in the problem of automatic generation of readable proof of geometric theorem. (2) The principle and algorithm of computer-generated readable proof of geometric theorem was established. This achievement is regarded by authoritative scholars as a "milestone" to enable computers to process geometric work like arithmetic. (3) The principle and algorithm of numerical parallel method for theorem proving are established. (4) Wu's method of geometric theorem machine proving is improved and developed. The WR decomposition algorithm including parameter resultant method and ascending sequence group is established, which completely solves the problem of relative decomposition of reducible ascending sequence. Among them, the "plane geometry textbooks" published by the Ministry of education were approved by the "people's Education Committee" in 2000. In 2003, it was included in the junior high school mathematics textbook published by Beijing Normal University and distributed to the whole country. "Intelligent education platform for primary school students" won the first prize of the Sixth National multimedia education software competition in 2002.
personnel training
In terms of teaching, academician Zhang Jingzhong, as a discipline leader, founded the master program of "curriculum and teaching theory" in Guangzhou University (formerly Guangzhou Normal University) in 1996, and served as the master tutor and discipline leader of the program. In 1997, "subject teaching theory (Mathematics)" was rated as the key subject of Guangzhou by Guangzhou Education Bureau. In 1998, we founded the undergraduate experimental class of information and Computing Science in Institute of software. In recent years, we have trained dozens of undergraduate, master and doctoral students. In 2002, with the support of Guangzhou University, Guangzhou Jingzhong Education Software Co., Ltd. was founded and served as the chairman of the company.
Over the years, academician Zhang Jingzhong has led all the staff of the software institute to adhere to the development path of combining production, learning and research, creating a new road for the success of teaching, scientific research and industrialization of achievements.
Zhang Jingzhong was born in December 1936 in Runan County, Henan Province. He is an academician, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
