Liang Wenbo
Liang Wenbo, born on March 25, 1987 in Sizhan Town, Zhaodong City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is a Chinese snooker player.
In 2005, Liang Wenbo became a professional after winning the World Youth Championship under 21. In 2006, Liang Wenbo entered the snooker Welsh Open. In 2008, Liang Wenbo entered the top eight of the world championships for the first time, creating the best result of the Chinese mainland players in the Snooker World Championships. In 2009, Liang Wenbo advanced to the final of Shanghai Masters and won the best record of his career ranking competition. In 2015, Liang Wenbo entered the final of the British championship, ranking among the top 16 in the world. In 2016, Liang Wenbo won the snooker England Open Championship, becoming the third Chinese player to win the ranking championship, and scored 147 out of 3.
Early experience
At the age of 13, Liang Wenbo started his own billiards career under the guidance of his father. He learned from offensive player Wu Wenzhong and practiced for 7-8 hours every day.
In 2001, Liang Wenbo's family of three came to Guangdong and went to Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen to seek professional development.
In 2003, Liang Wenbo participated in the ibsf Snooker World Championships and made it into the top eight.

Sports career

In August 2019, Liang Wenbo was promoted to the top 16 of the international championships.
In June 2020, Liang Wenbo won three games in a row in the first round group match of the snooker Champions League, which adopts the single round robin competition system, and thus entered the top 16.
