Liu Jianghua
Liu Jianghua (Lau Kong Wah, June 22, 1957 -), born in Hong Kong, China, is a native of Shunde, Guangdong Province. He was a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and a justice of the peace.
He was the Secretary for home affairs of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the people's Republic of China.

Liu Jianghua is one of the few political figures in the DAB who once had a democratic background. When he first entered the political arena, he was a member of the Hong Kong Union, the predecessor of the Democratic Party, and served as a member of the Sha Tin District Council from 1985 to 2003. In the 1991 Legislative Council election in Hong Kong, he attacked the members of the United Democrats of Hong Kong (UDHK) in order to win seats. He was denounced by the party and was forced to withdraw from the party. After that, he set up "civil power" on his own. He is now the largest regional political organization in Shatin District. in the 1996 Provisional Legislative Council election, he was elected as a member of the Legislative Council for the first time. At the beginning of 1998, he joined the Democratic Alliance for the betterment of China (DAB), which is totally opposite to the political position of the Democratic Party, and became a stepping stone for him to enter the Legislative Council. in 1998, the Hong Kong Legislative Council election was re elected through direct election to the New Territories East constituency. In 2000, the Hong Kong Legislative Council election was re elected. In the 2003 Hong Kong District Council election, he lost the Sha Tin District Council seat for the first time by losing 1885 votes to Ho Shuping, the Democratic opponent (she got 2163 votes at that time). In the 2004 Legislative Council Election of Hong Kong, he was re elected for the third time with 95434 votes and led Li Guoying into the Legislative Council. He has been elected vice chairman of the DAB since June 2005. He did not participate in the 2007 Hong Kong District Council election, but under his leadership, Yang Wenrui, a newcomer to the Democratic Alliance for the betterment of Hong Kong (DAB), defeated he Shuping by 350 votes. In the 2008 Hong Kong Legislative Council election, he was re elected by more than 100000 votes in the New Territories East constituency, making him the winner of the election. from July 2015 to April 2020, Secretary for home affairs of Hong Kong.
