Luo Jing
Luo Jing (May 29, 1961 - June 5, 2009), born in Chaoyang District, Beijing, graduated from Communication University of China. His ancestral home is Longfeng Town, Pengxian County, Sichuan Province (now danjingshan Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province). He is a former CCTV host, announcer, deputy chief of information department, and a representative of the 17th CPC National Congress.
In 1979, he was admitted to the broadcasting Department of Beijing Broadcasting University. After graduation in 1983, he joined CCTV to host the program "news broadcast", and became known as the "three broadcasting giants" together with Zhao Zhongxiang and song Shixiong. In 2003, he took part in CCTV's Spring Festival Gala in the year of the goat and performed the program "good luck to you". In 2007, he was elected as the representative of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In 2008, Luo Jing served as the torch of Beijing Olympic Games Hands.
In July 2008, he was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, suspended from work and admitted to hospital for treatment. During this period, he received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and chemotherapy. He died of illness on the morning of June 5, 2009. At the Luo Jing memorial meeting held on July 30, 2009, he was posthumously awarded with the "lifetime achievement award of broadcasting and hosting industry" and the "China double Arts Television artist" award. In November 2009, he was posthumously awarded with the award of China Broadcasting and hosting industry Golden microphone award.
Acting experience
Luo Jing high school studied in Beijing Jiuxianqiao No.2 Middle School. In 1979, Luo Jing went to apply for the Beijing Broadcasting Institute. In 1983, Luo Jing graduated from Beijing Broadcasting Institute. In the same year, he worked for CCTV as an announcer of news network. In 2007, he was elected as the representative of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; in 2008, he sang "thousands of miles away" in the program "Happy China trip"; in the same year, Luo Jing served as the 140th torchbearer of the Beijing Olympic Games; on August 31, Luo Jing broadcast in the news network program for the last time; in March 2009, Luo Jing won the annual news special honor award; on November 14, Luo Jing won the "gold medal" "Microphone Award" is a lifetime achievement honor.

In 1985, Luo Jing met his wife, Liu Jihong, who was a student sister of Luojing Beijing Broadcasting College. In 1995, Luo Jing's son, Luo Shutong, was born. After graduating from the experimental middle school affiliated to Beijing Normal University, Luo Shutong went to study in the United States.
Death
In July 2008, Luo Jing was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer; on June 5, 2009, Luo Jing died in 307 Hospital at 7:05 am after recuperation due to lymphatic cancer, and the cause of death was heart failure caused by chemotherapy; a memorial service was held at 9:00 am on June 11 at Babaoshan funeral home.
