Ren Jianxin
Ren Jianxin, born in August 1925 in Fencheng (now Xiangfen), Shanxi Province, joined the Communist Party of China and took part in work in June 1948. He graduated from the Department of chemical engineering, School of technology, Peking University and is a lawyer.
He was vice chairman of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and member of the Party group of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference.

In May 1994, he was elected president of China Judges Association.
He was vice chairman of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee from March 1998 to March 2003.
After April 1998, he served as honorary director of the 14th China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and China Maritime Arbitration Commission.

Honors
In November 1994, he was awarded a gold medal by the World Intellectual Property Organization in recognition of his contribution to the protection of intellectual property rights in China. In 1997, he won the achievement award of the International Association for the protection of industrial property rights.
