Chen Geng
Chen Geng (1909-1952), a major general of the Kuomintang army, was born in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. He graduated from Huangpu Military Academy No. 6 transportation department and Army University No. 13.

In the spring of 1938, he served as the chief of staff of the 15th division of the 73rd army. Later, he served as the mayor of Hengyang City and the commander of Hengyang garrison. In the summer of 1944, he served as the major general director of the research class of the army's signalmen school. In 1947, he served as the director of the management and Training Department of the Communications Department of the joint logistics headquarters. In November 1948, he served as the acting chief of staff and the director of the cadre training class of Hunan provincial security command. In the spring of 1949, he served as the deputy chief of staff of the 1st Corps. In August, he participated. Later, he served as chief of staff of the 52nd PLA.
