Lu Zhide
Lu Zhide (1901-1979) was born in shangzha village, Jinding Town, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City. Doctor of medicine, New York University, USA.
He once served as the director of the Military Medical Department of the Ministry of military affairs, and attended the surrender ceremony of Japan.
Life of the characters
He was admitted to Peking Union Medical College with a bachelor's degree. He went to New York University for further study.
In 1928, in the 17 years of the Republic of China, he received a doctor's degree and stayed in school to teach and study physiology and pharmacology.
In 1932, in the summer of the 21st year of the Republic of China, he was employed as a professor of Peking Union Medical College after returning to China.
In August 1932, he served as the director of major general of the Central Military Academy.
In 1934, he served as director of military medical department and inspection director of Military Medical Department of Jiangxi appeasement office, director of Military Medical Department of Chongqing camp, director of Health Department of Lushan and Emei officer training regiments, etc.
In 1936, in the 25th year of the Republic of China, he was sent abroad to study military medical education and military health service. He went to Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, the United States and Canada, and was incorporated into the Royal Army Medical College.
During the Anti Japanese War, Lu Zhide served as director of the health department of the rear service department of the Military Commission, director of the general medical department of the army, deputy director of the military and Political Department, and director of the wartime health personnel training institute of the military and political department.
On September 9, 1945, Lu Zhide, director of the Military Medical Department of the Ministry of military affairs, attended the surrender ceremony of Japan.
In 1949, in the spring of the Republic of China, he moved to Taiwan as the acting president of the National Defense Medical College.
On June 11, 1979, Lu Zhide died in Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
