He Menghua

He Menghua, a Cantonese, was born in Shanghai in 1923 and graduated from Shanghai drama school. He started acting in 1955 and died in Hong Kong on May 19, 2009.

Achievements and honors

He used to be Yan Jun's deputy director, and his first work was after the appointment. He has worked for Shao for more than 20 years and directed more than 50 films. Among them, "Shanshan" won the best film award at the 14th Asian Film Festival and a special award from the Minister of education, culture and culture of Japan.
