He also found the most fresh and natural hero of National Film: Dong Mingxiang. Dong Mingxiang, a student of fine arts, was seen by Chen Huaien when he was quietly doing fine arts work. Chen Huaien found that "how can someone look so good when alone?" so he invited Dong Mingxiang to be the hero of "Etudes", and it took a long time to persuade him. Dong Mingxiang, who has never been in a play, wants to ride a bicycle from Taitung to take the audience around the island and feel the warmth of Taiwanese people. However, the most difficult part of the whole stage of "Matsu opera" is the first stage of "Matsu opera". At that time, in order to truly record the scene of Mazu's tour, the crew had no choice but to start shooting immediately, so that Dong Mingxiang, the first performer, had to face the scene of hundreds of people on the street. Watching the middle-aged grandfather kneel down to welcome Mazu, he was deeply moved by the power of religious belief. later that day, only the last piece of negative film and the last piece of light and shadow was left. If the success failed, Mazu was reluctant to pass. Dongming Xiangxiang saw that Yang Liyin and the staff all went to join the praying people and knelt down on the road to greet Mazu. When he was moved, his tears suddenly fell down, completing the most miraculous performance moment of the film. Mazu finally agreed to pass at this time, and all the staff on the scene almost cried. This moment, which can't be practiced or repeated, has become the most natural footnotes of the film.

When Dong Mingxiang was about one year old, he suffered from fever and hearing loss due to vaccination. From then on, he became a so-called hearing-impaired person. Most people often think that hearing-impaired people communicate in sign language. Yang Liyin, who conducted Drama Guidance for Dong Mingxiang before the shooting of "Etudes", saw him for the first time. Before she spoke, she began to compare with sign language. This surprised Dong Mingxiang because he didn't know sign language at all. It turned out that when he was in the third grade of primary school, the school teachers assigned him to the ordinary class. From then on, he had a class with ordinary students who had no trouble listening. it wasn't until he came back to his alma mater after university and asked the teacher why he had done that at that time that he realized that the teacher had seen successful cases of special students studying in ordinary classes abroad. He especially asked the president to let him try this way. It took half a year just to persuade his mother. However, Dong Mingxiang now finds that in the past, hearing-impaired students only know sign language and can only communicate with the circle of hearing-impaired friends, but he can enter the society and open his life circle by relying on hearing aids and learning to speak. Only in this way can he know that the teacher made the right choice for him. after graduating from University, Dong Mingxiang ran into difficulties in finding a job because of hearing impairment. So he recalled that on the way from high school to university, someone he didn't know said that he could be a model. He didn't like it before, but he thought that maybe he might as well have a try. He remembered his friend saying to him, "if you get a key and don't open it, how do you know if it's light or dark behind the door?" He read about hearing-impaired model Wang Xiaoshu in the newspaper and thought, "there is only one Wang Xiaoshu in Taiwan. Can there be a second one? If she can make it, why can't I? " So he joined the catwalk agency and became a model.

Changing the stage to challenge the big screen
