Born in Huludao, Liaoning Province, Professor Liu Yan. He has been teaching in school since 1995. Members of the international comparison society and the China comparison society, members and directors of the China Comparative Literature Teaching society, and members and directors of the oriental literature society offer elective courses of "appreciation of foreign literary classics" and compulsory courses of "writing" for students of all departments. In the College of liberal arts, the main lectures are: history of foreign literature for undergraduates, comparison of Chinese and western novels, text interpretation of foreign novels, comparative literature theory course, Japanese literature research, comparative literature theory and methods for postgraduates, foreign literature classics of the 20th century.
