Cao Huiqu (1930 ~ July 2018) is a mainland actor whose main works are railway guerrillas and love and heritage.

Cao Huiqu was born in 1930 with seven brothers and sisters. He was the youngest. His father is the manager of Anton's old Donghua pharmacy.

In May 1948, Cao Huiqu went to Shenyang to study, just in time for the KMT's movement of suppressing anti hunger, anti civil war and anti persecution. Cao Huiqu and six students ran to the liberated areas under the guidance of the underground Party of Northeast Institute of technology. Because of his outstanding literary and artistic skills, Cao Huiqu became a member of the propaganda team of the fifth division of Liaoning Jilin Military Region of the Northeast People's Liberation Army. In the army, Cao Huiqu soon became a trumpeter. Every day, in addition to training in voice training, singing, yangko dance and arranging programs, he was also responsible for blowing the wake-up number and assembly number.
Under the age of 18, Cao Huiqu went to the front line. Propagandizing on the battlefield, escorting prisoners and carrying the wounded. After that, Cao Huiqu's troops were reorganized into the 4th field army, 49th army, 162nd division. They went south from North China, crossed the Yellow River and the Yangtze River, and fought all the way to the founding of the people's Republic of China.
In Hengyang division of 162 division, Cao Huiqu went up the mountain with his troops to suppress bandits while performing for the neighboring troops and the common people. Officially on stage
In 1951, the 4th field army of the Central South military region held an art performance. In order to rehearse Dong Cunrui, the 48th army transferred Cao Huiqu to the 48th army's Art Troupe.
In May 1951, the art troupe went to Wuhan to perform. Cao Huiqu won the actor award for Dong Cunrui's watch. The Party committee of the division made a great contribution to him and asked him to represent the Central South military region in Beijing to participate in the army's first art performance.
In 1952, Cao Huiqu was transferred to the Art Theater of the Central South Army (in 1953, the theater moved to Guangzhou and became the soldier drama company). Cao Huiqu became a professional drama actor. Since then, he has performed many dramas, such as "the dawn shines on Moscow", "the spring breeze blows to the NOMIN River" and "defending peace". Among them, the drama "battle song of the South China Sea", which took part in the second military literature and art conference in Beijing, has been unanimously praised by Xinhua News Agency reporters and the drama circles. As a result, Cao Huiqu has won the commendation of the military region.
On the night of June 19, 1964, Cao Huiqu and his comrades in arms performed the great wall of the South China Sea at the Great Hall of the people. After that, Chairman Mao strode onto the stage and shook hands with Cao Huiqu cordially.
Screen career
In 1956, Shanghai film studio was preparing to make the film "railway guerrillas". Directors Zhao Ming and Zhang Zheng came to Beijing to select actors to play the role of Liu Hong. After seeing Cao Huiqu, he felt that he had both a worker's temperament and a warrior's style, so he was asked to go to Shanghai to test the camera. In Shanghai Film Studio, after making up, modeling and audition, the Party committee of the studio unanimously decided that Cao Huiqu would play captain Liu Hong. Once broadcast, railway guerrillas became popular all over the country.
In 1958, Cao Huiqu also starred in the film "long sky wings".
In the 1960s, Cao Huiqu was sent to the May 7th cadre school to work.
After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee in 1978, Cao Huiqu was rehabilitated.
After that, he appeared in the 10th bullet hole, love and heritage, operation hurricane and other films.
Life in old age
In 2016, Cao Huiqu settled in Guangzhou.
In June 2016, Cao Huiqu returned to his hometown of Dandong
