Li Tie
Li Tie, born on May 18, 1977 in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is a former Chinese professional football player. He is now retired from football.
During the player period, he was selected into Jianlibao youth team in November 1993, and then went to Brazil to study for five years. During this period, he was selected into China's national team to participate in the second phase of the World Cup finals. In 2001, he was selected into the national team and participated in the Asian group stage and top ten of the world cup, as well as the 2002 World Cup between Korea and Japan. In 2002-03 season, Li Weifeng and Li Weifeng went to Everton on loan with the help of the sponsor. After the loan expired, they completed a permanent transfer and played in Everton for four seasons, playing 34 Premier League games and 6 Cup games. He joined Sheffield United for two seasons in 2006. In 2008, he returned to China and joined Chengdu Sheffield Union. Return to Liaozu in 2009.
In May 2012, he served as assistant coach of Guangzhou Evergrande. In November 2013, he assisted Lippi to lead Guangzhou Hengda team to win the Asian Champions League. In 2014, as the assistant coach of China National Men's football team, he assisted Alan pelan to participate in the 2015 Asian Cup. He retired from Evergrande's coaching team in June 2015. Since July, he has successively served as executive deputy general manager, sports director, leader of Chinese coaching team and head coach of Hebei Huaxia happy football club. Early experience

Sports career
In 1998, on behalf of Jianlibao youth team, he won the third place in the "Toulon Cup" International Youth Football invitational tournament of France; on behalf of the national team, he won the second place in the football match of Bangkok Asian Games.
After returning to China in the same year, he joined Liaoning team and won the second place in League A and B and FA Cup.
In 1999, he won the "DENGXILU Cup" international football invitational tournament on behalf of the national team; he was selected into the Olympic team to participate in the Sydney Olympic football tournament; he won the Super Bowl Championship and the runner up of League A for Liaoning team; he was selected into the national football training team in charge of Jin Zhiyang.
In 2000, he was selected into Milutinovic's national training team for many times; in March, he was selected as a member of the first Chinese men's football "dragon team" held by the Chinese Football Association and sponsored by the Chinese Zhengqi Dragon International Foundation; he won the fourth place in the 12th Asian Cup on behalf of the national team.
In 2001, he was elected as the Chinese Footballer of the year and won the best player award of League a.
In the same year, he was selected into the national team, participated in the Asian group matches and the top ten matches of the world cup, and won the qualification of the final stage of the world cup for the first time. In recognition of his performance, the National Sports Federation awarded Li Tie the first level Medal of national sports.
Li Tie participated in the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan on behalf of the national team. He was appreciated by Everton Football Club of the Premier League. On July 25, 2002, he transferred to Everton Football Club of the Premier League on loan and officially joined Everton football club on August 1.
In the summer of 2006, Li tie was transferred to Sheffield United as a free agent for 1.2 million pounds. He was promoted to Sheffield United in the new season of the Premier League with a contract term of two years (before he transferred to Sheffield United, Li Tie did not play for Everton football club for two years due to fracture). In July 2007, he was selected into the Chinese national team coached by Zhu Guanghu to participate in the 14th India Malaysia Thailand Vietnam Asian Cup. In the last round of the group stage, he started against Uzbekistan and stopped in the group stage.
In January 2008, with half a year's contract with Sheffield United, Li Tie joined the club's cooperative team in China, Chengdu Sheffield United, and scored his first league goal in 2008.
In 2009, at the end of the season, he joined Liaoning Hongyun team which had just been demoted as a free agent. He also served as an assistant coach and successfully overtook the team.
On October 23, 2010, Liaoning won Nanchang 1-0 at home. Li Tie injured his right leg with a slide shovel in the 40th minute. When he was sent to the hospital for treatment, he was diagnosed with two fractures of tibia and fibula. Since the serious injury in the league, Li Tie has been assisting coach Malin to manage the team as an assistant coach.
On August 22, 2011, Li Tie came back in the Reserve League match with Nanchang team.
At the beginning of 2012, when Li Tie registered with the whole team, he was still a member and coach. In the same year, he served as assistant coach of Guangzhou Hengda team. He won the champion of China Super League in that year and the Asian champion in the next year.
Teaching experience
In May 2012, Li tie was invited by Lippi to Guangzhou Evergrande as an assistant coach of physical fitness.
In May 2014, he entered the Chinese men's football national team again to assist pelan.
On June 26, 2015, Li Tie, the Chinese coach of Guangzhou Hengda team, formally resigned from the club, ending his three-year and one month coaching work in Hengda team. On February 3, 2016, Li Tie and Li Jinyu, two former assistants of the national football team, were no longer working in the national football team due to their positions in professional clubs.
On August 27, Hebei Huaxia Happy Football Club officially announced that after friendly negotiation, Li Tie will no longer serve as the head coach of Hebei Huaxia happy football team, and former Manchester City coach Pellegrini will take over the new coach of the team.
