Zhai Yixiang, born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province on January 20, 1987, is a director and screenwriter in mainland China and graduated from the Academy of fine arts of Southwest University.

In 2010, he directed his first short film 26 degrees. In 2015, he directed the plot film "return to vulgarity", which won the best artistic contribution award of the 9th first youth film exhibition and the best plot film award of China unit of Hamburg Film Festival. In June 2019, the director's plot film "mosaic girl" was shortlisted in the main competition unit of the 54th karovy Farley International Film Festival, which is the only Chinese film shortlisted in the 54th karovy Farley International Film Festival.
