Duhem Bay, an American film actor, was born in Vienna. His father is Turkish and his mother is Czech. In the 1930s, he moved to the United States to study and perform in Ben bard School of drama and Pasadena theatre. Since 1941, he has been acting as a mysterious figure or character in Hollywood. He often plays with Maria montith, Jon hall, Sapu, etc. in the Arabian Nights of exotic films. Later, due to the obsolescence of such films, he left the film industry for military service in the late 1940s. In the early 1950s, he returned to Hollywood, worked as the producer of the B-class film "stolen documents" (1953), and soon returned to Vienna as a photographer. In 1944, Duhem Bay played the role of a Chinese farmer in the MGM film "dragon seed" based on Pearl S. Buck's original work. In the same year, Duhem Bay was selected as one of the ten "future stars" by the film Herald. He died in Vienna on September 30, 2012 at the age of 90.
