Early experience
Du Zhiguo was born in Hebei Province in 1954. At the age of 16, he was admitted to the Tianjin Police District Art Troupe. He first learned dance, practiced for a period of time, and then transferred to the drama team. He lived in Tianjin for seven years. Du Zhiguo uses two words to cover his artistic process "pain", and further explains it as "pain is a bowl of rice, a feeling, and a complaint of the past".
Acting experience
