Zhang Chunhua
Zhang Chunhua (December 1924 March 5, 2019), formerly known as Zhang Shiming, was born in Wuqing, Hebei Province (now Wuqing District, Tianjin). He was born in Tianjin, Han nationality. He is a Peking opera performing artist and a famous wuchou actor in China Peking opera academy.
On March 5, 2019, Zhang Chunhua, a famous martial arts clown of Beijing opera, died in Beijing at the age of 95.
Life of the characters
In 1931, Wu Chou and Wu Sheng joined Tianjin huajingji ancient social science class.
In 1944, he went to Beijing to seek development. Later, he got involved with his friends in Liyuan and went on to study under the guidance of Ye Shengzhang, a famous Peking Opera martial arts artist. He became the main successor of Ye Shengzhang and performed on Tianchan stage in Shanghai in cooperation with he Yuqin and others.
In the Spring Festival of 1943, Dai ye Shengzhang's performance of "stealing chickens from time to time" was famous in Tianjin. In the same year, he formally worshipped Ye as his teacher and went to Beijing to perform with Fu Liancheng's class. In the same year, he went to Shanghai to cooperate with he Yuqin. As early as in the 1940s, it began to stand out because of its starring role in the foreign story "Robin Hood". Later, he starred in many wonderful plays, such as "steal a", "wine beggar" and "Qiao Lianhuan", which were active on the Beijing opera stage in Beijing and Shanghai. In his plays, Mr. Zhang Chunhua pays great attention to following the principle of skills to serve the shaping of characters, especially for his good at designing martial arts movements.
In 1946, Yunhua society was established in cooperation with Zhang Yunxi. He once stopped because of leg injury.
In 1949, he joined the Peking Opera experimental group 2 of the opera improvement bureau, and later transferred to the Peking opera academy of China to cooperate with Li Hezeng, Zhang Yunxi, Li Hongchun and others on the same stage for a long time.
In 1951, he participated in the third world youth and Student Festival. In Germany, she took part in the competition in the form of pantomime and won the first prize for her performance "three forks". He also performed many new plays, such as "three dozen ZHUJIAZHUANG", "hunting tiger" and "five rats in Tokyo", and performed "Qiujiang" to Zhou Qihe, the famous clown of Sichuan Opera, making it a reserved play of Beijing opera.

In 1955, he performed with Chinese art troupes in France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Britain, Yugoslavia and other countries, which made a sensation in Paris, Rome, London and other Western European cities. With Zhang Chunhua, Zhang Yunxi, Li Zongyi and Yun Yanming as the main actors, the second troupe of the Chinese Peking opera academy was established. They have jointly performed a number of excellent Peking Opera plays, such as the story of hunting tigers, the highlight of catching water, the Jiulong cup, the order of three robbers, and the broken copper net array.
In 1957, he played monkey king in the French film kite.
In 1978, he accompanied the Chinese art troupe to perform "autumn river" in major cities in the United States, which was welcomed by the American audience.
After 1979, he still insisted on performing on stage and toured around the country with Li Shiji and Zhang Yunxi.
In 1987, he went to Cardiff, England, to teach Peking Opera lovers from all over the world about the performing arts of Peking Opera and the artistic characteristics of Peking Opera wuchou. He also performed Qiujiang and Jiefan at the oriental classical art seminar held by Mr. Goff in London, which was warmly welcomed by artists and celebrities in the press all over the world.
In 1988, he co starred with Tianjin Youth Peking Opera Troupe in the national new drama performance.
At about 6:00 on March 5, 2019, Zhang Chunhua, a famous martial arts clown of Beijing opera, died in Beijing at the age of 95.
On March 9, 2019, a farewell ceremony for Zhang Chunhua's body was held at the Babaoshan funeral home in Beijing, where people from Peking Opera and cultural circles went to see him off.
