Character evaluation
Chen Chong: Jiang Wen's story is never enough to tell you something common and everyday. In fact, the viewing habits of many domestic audiences are cultivated by TV plays, and they still expect you to tell them a story. Once the film doesn't focus on narrative, but something deeper and more difficult, they don't get used to it.
At the same time, he is not the same as other actors. I'm not saying that other directors don't know how to perform, but Jiang Wen looks at how to perform from the perspective of actors, so his requirements are different from those of other directors. From the actor's point of view, if he comes to play, he will be very specific and communicate with the actors. It's not very empty and mysterious, but standing on the same stage to communicate with you. It's very enjoyable.
Zhang Yimou: he is very good at acting. He has a very smart mind. He is also very thoughtful and capable. And I think he definitely wants to be a good director. He has such a heart. He is a man who wants to be a commander, not a soldier at the bottom. He has a high heart and the ability. He hopes to surpass anyone. My view is that if he doesn't talk, he may feel that Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige, Jia Zhangke and Lu Chuan are nothing. He is really a man with a high heart. I think he wants to surpass the contemporary Chinese directors. He is better than these people. He really thinks so, but he doesn't admit it. This is my view. I also believe that he is the best director in China in the future.
Wang Shuo: he has the strength to make many people who know him willing to do something for him. When we talk about him, no matter what you think of one of his movies
