Weng Shuangjie (1928 ~ January 6, 2014), formerly known as Weng Zhigang, male, from Zhejiang Province. The third group of national intangible cultural heritage project representative inheritors of farce.
brief introduction
Weng Shuangjie, formerly known as Weng Zhigang, was born in 1928 in Zhejiang Province. He is a national first-class actor and a member of the Democratic League. He is a member of China quyi Association, Shanghai quyi Association and China Dramatist Association. When he was young, he worked as an apprentice in Wang Xingchang's suit and woolen cloth shop. In 1949, Yao mushuang and Zhou Baichun became teachers and joined the bee farce troupe. Later, they joined the farce troupe of Shanghai People's Art Theatre, Shanghai quyi troupe and Shanghai farce troupe. In the performance, he created a kind of unique physical action of jumping and swaying, which is used to attract laughter and shape characters in every play. In order to adapt to this characteristic, we should play the role of "little man" in the play. For example, the boasting and despicable "rebel" minion ah Liu in "sexual intercourse", the naive and exuberant waiter in "spring in the garden", the defiant and pretentious visiting waiter in "Strange Tales of the world", and the clumsy and paranoid retired worker Ding yubai in "friends don't meet". In particular, "the baby under the street lamp" plays the unemployed youth Er Mao, who has more characteristics and won the first Shanghai Drama Performance Award. Monologue "neither crying nor laughing", "full face spring breeze", "cheat big cake", "pull rickshaw" and so on are often reserved programs. In 1979, he was invited by the famous American dramatist Bob Hope to take part in the shooting of the TV drama "the road to China", which won the praise of his collaborators.
Personal experience
In 1961, Weng Shuangjie cooperated with the comedian yuan Yiling. He took a solo play full face spring breeze and participated in an art performance group organized by Shanghai municipal government to express sympathy and support to the construction workers of Northwest China. Full face spring breeze came to Qinghai Province. It tells how two barbers with different service attitudes treat customers, praises the advanced and criticizes the backward. Weng Shuangjie plays the hairdresser who is uneasy about his job. He uses props as scissors to cut yuan Yiling's head. He shaves his head while dancing and swaying. In a more fashionable way, he has a rock and roll flavor, which suddenly wins the audience's laughter. For the first performance, this program is put on the first one; for the second, it is turned upside down, and "full face spring breeze" leaps to be the last "big axis drama". Weng's clumsy shaking and limping made the audience move strangely from time to time.
succeed! So Weng Shuangjie went on along this road. He used this set in the farce. Every time he played a farce, he used this kind of action as a wonderful way to make people laugh and shape their characters.
Role play
Among the many farces that Weng Shuangjie has performed, his favorite ones are Xiao Pang in the spring breeze in the garden, Jiang Er Mao in the baby under the street lamp, and ah Liu in the relationship between sex and life. And the audience also gave a thumbs up to Xiao Wang, who he played in the ever-changing, Queli in the strange tales of the world, and Ding yubai in not friends don't meet.
Xiao Pang is a supporting role in the spring breeze in the garden, but Weng Shuangjie's work of jumping and swaying makes him shine. This small and fat Restaurant Waiter, holding a casserole in his left hand and an iron spoon in his right hand, waved and danced in the shop, showing the happy and heartless character of a young man. When there is a fire in the kitchen, he should scream and put it out quickly. However, Xiao Pang seems to slow down by three steps. He turns around and moves forward leisurely and leisurely, showing his innocence and childishness. He never cares about anything.
In "the baby under the street lamp", Jiang Er Mao is 20 years old, and Weng Shuangjie is 55 years old when he plays this role. Chubby, squat, with a protruding belly. It's not like a big kid at all. Director Hu Weimin worried that he would not be competent, Weng Shuangjie clapped his chest to guarantee: "don't worry!" The way is to jump rope every morning and lose 9kg soon. In the play, Jiang Er Mao has to climb the scaffold. Weng Shuangjie's image is like pig Bajie. The director wants him to climb fast! Weng Shuangjie practiced climbing every day. Later, he performed on stage with great speed and clean movements.
have a great vogue
Many letters from the audience congratulated him and praised him One letter after another piled on his desk. Unexpectedly, there were several love letters. A young woman sent him a picture and courted him. "I haven't got a date yet. Shall we make friends?" The old man sneezed and almost laughed. Do you still have "peach blossom luck" at such an old age? Maybe this young lady only saw the model on the stage. Weng Shuangjie replied: "I like you very much, really! So I decided to do your "Grandfather". The signature is "55 year old Weng Shuangjie".
Laughing stars fall

He was 86 years old. The news of the old man's death was first revealed by a text on the microblog in the early morning of January 6 and a picture of the old man's old age taken by netizens, which shocked almost all the audience. In the interview, Weng Shuangjie's apprentice, Xiao Weng Shuangjie, lamented that this photo was not uploaded by his family or colleagues. He hoped that this netizen could delete it on his own initiative, because it was not the image Mr. Weng wanted to leave to everyone. In fact, in the eyes of the audience, he has never been old, he is always the "little funny" who likes to say "Hello, dear comrades".
