Gu Shangwei, born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province on February 2, is a layman disciple of Shaolin Temple and a Kung Fu actor in mainland China.

In 2007, he starred in the song and dance film "JingWuMen", and began his acting career. In 2011, he starred in the action film "Yong Chun Xiao Long". Early experience

When Gu Shangwei was five years old, his father, Gu Xiangdi, a boxer of Nanquan, taught him some folk martial arts. When he was 12 years old, he was sent by his family to a martial arts school near Shaolin Temple to learn Kunlun plum blossom boxing. At the age of 15, he went to Beijing plum blossom boxing Research Association for further study. At the age of 17, he began to coach some martial arts schools in Beijing and Xuzhou. Acting experience
