Luo Jianlang

Luo Jianlang (1923-2004), known as Fu Ge, grew up in Shanghai and came from a well-off family.

After his father died of illness, he went south to Guangzhou with his mother. Because of his infatuation with Cantonese opera, he formed Xiaowu Huang Hesheng, and worshipped him as a teacher, so he abandoned his studies and became an artist.

Character experience

He has successively joined the troupes of "Da Luo Tian", "Yan Yang Tian", "Qi Chong Tian", "Sheng Li", "Da San Yuan", "Da Feng Huang" and "Zhen Shan Mei", and his followers are Wen Wu Sheng. He is dignified and elegant in appearance, and performs robe and armour drama, which is really majestic. In 1957, he founded Guozhen film company and set foot in the film industry. He has cooperated with Luo Yanqing, Fang Yanfen, Liang Xingbo, etc. Open a restaurant in the United States after retirement. In the 1990s, he returned to Hong Kong to attend the fund-raising program of the third East China Hospital. On January 27, 2003, Luo Jianlang died of asthma in San Francisco. He was 81 years old.
