Character evaluation
With his creative talent and persistent pursuit spirit, Du Guowei has maintained the charm and strong vitality of drama creation. In Hong Kong, where business is booming and popular culture is booming, the creation of Du Guowei's plays is an energetic stream, which is worth gazing at and reciting. He is familiar with the stage, theater, and life. His dramas describe life and tend to show the beautiful side of life. His dramas face the audience and have rich and vivid plots. His plays are not so dramatic and theatrical as his dramatic creation, which has a strong sense of audience. His concept of drama creation obviously inherits the traditional Chinese concept of drama creation. Of course, the biggest difference between Du Guowei's drama creation and popular art in Hong Kong is that Hong Kong's popular culture, especially the film and television art, relies on "emotion" to create sensational emotions. His interest is to show the lust for flesh and material, and people's desire is rampant, making Hong Kong's screen flesh and blood splash. The creation of Du Guowei's plays shows people's affection, warm beauty of human nature and human feelings. Du Guowei adheres to the cultural taste of drama under the popular level of drama creation, and exudes a warm and fresh atmosphere in the Hong Kong drama circle (review of drama art).
