Director, screenwriter, producer, member of China Film Directors Association.

Graduated from the director department of Beijing Film Academy in 1991. As the first deputy director of Zhang Yimou in his early years, he participated in the production of many films, such as "no one can be less", "my father and mother", "happy time" and so on. Director's representative works: winter solstice, summer with you, night of getting better and better village, psychological crime, producer's works: small age series. In October 2017, he was selected by the State Administration of press, publication, radio, film and television of China into the "talent exchange program for new forces of Chinese film" and sent to Paramount Pictures to study and exchange with three other young film directors. In the same year, he was the final judge of Tencent Ni script competition. He was the first judge of the annual commendation meeting of China Film Directors Association in 2018.

On March 22, 2021, the film "super me" released a poster and preview, which was officially scheduled for release on April 9, 2021.
