Internet boom
On March 13, 2011, Alexandra Wallace, a white female student at UCLA University, published a video with serious racial discrimination on youtube, criticizing Asian American students for speaking loudly on the phone in the library despite the regulations, and sarcastically imitating the pronunciation of the Asian language "chingchong, Linglong, Tingtong". What's more striking is that he suddenly turns to the Japanese tsunami at the end of the video, and expresses disgust at Asian students' eagerness to ask for the safety of all their relatives in the phone book by phone in the library, which arouses the condemnation of the majority of Asian and even all non white ethnic groups. Subsequently, a large number of feedback videos on the Internet have emerged, many of which are not only sharp but also witty and humorous. Among them, the most outstanding one is China Chong (it means I love you), which was published by 24-year-old Chinese American Jimmy Wong just two days after the incident. This song immediately became popular on the Internet. At present, "itching singing" and so on have become English Network catchwords.
"Chingchong stands for I love you, Linglong stands for I want you," the world daily reported. Chinese American Jim Wong wrote songs with high EQ and full of American humor in response to a recent racist film by white schoolgirl Alexandra Wallace of UCLA on YouTube. The songs attracted millions of people to view in just a few days, and white netizens also sent emails to them Propose, become the latest network popular celebrity, the future does not rule out into the United States and Taiwan performing arts circle.
