Character evaluation
Ma Shaohua's dumb dad in the wrong bus talks in sign language. At first sight, it's a bit strange, but when immersed in the plot, he thinks that sign language conveys more information than spoken language. In Yimeng, Li Zhonghou, a farmer played by Ma Shaohua, is a simple wheat seedling growing on the land of Yimeng; in Xiaoping in the turning point of history, he plays Xiaoping, who shows the determination to straighten out the helmsman in the historical boat; in towards the Republic, he portrays Sun Yat Sen standing on the tide of the times with awe inspiring righteousness. A dumb dad distinguishes him from other characters. He can act as a big man, a small man, a talkative speaker and a dumb rag picker. Constantly break through themselves, improve themselves, have a dream on the pure, has the strength on the hard, has the feelings on the soft, this is a good actor. (Xinhua Online Review)
Ma Shaohua's honest character makes him always have a responsibility to young people. (online review of CPC News)
