Xu Fen, female, was born in Shexian County, Anhui Province in 1970. Associate Professor, Department of automation, North China University of technology.

In 1992, he graduated from the Department of automation, University of science and technology of China with a bachelor's degree in engineering; in 1995, he obtained a master's degree in engineering from the Institute of electrical engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; in 1999, he obtained a doctor's degree from the National University of Singapore. after graduation, he worked in Singapore and Switzerland for several years, engaged in the research and development of digital signal processing, image processing and photoelectric precision measuring instruments, As the main R & D personnel, he participated in the "development of CCD digital level", "design and development of long-distance measurement system based on semiconductor laser element for general non optical reflection target", and "high precision horizontal inclination sensor". He joined North University of technology in 2003. undertake one general project of science and technology development plan of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, one construction project of intelligent mobile robot platform of Beijing Key Laboratory of fieldbus technology and automation, and one open project of key laboratory.
