Zhang Juguang, also known as Zhang Zhelun, Zhang Haoran, Hui nationality, born in HUOLIANZHAI, Xihu District, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, was born in Shenyang on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 1929. His father, Zhang Dechun, Ziwen, is a famous scholar of Islam in modern China and an educator of Hui nationality. He once served as the head of mosques in Baoding, Beijing, Shenyang and other places and the president of Shenyang Institute of Muslim culture. He is hardworking for art and serious in his creative attitude. He has created a number of screen art images with different identities, personalities and ages, with distinctive personality and brilliance. Zhang Juguang was born in such a scholarly family and the family of the upper class people who believe in Islam, so he received a good family education. When he was a child, he was intelligent and studious. He first went to Shenyang halal primary school to learn cultural knowledge and Arabic, and then to Yiguang and Gaoxin elementary schools. In 1942, he was transferred to the private Shenyang Institute of Muslim culture, which was founded by his father and concurrently served as the president of the school. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, he took part in the little comedy "dinner after recovery" performance in school. At that time, he also participated in some work of the Sino Soviet Friendship Association.

In April 1946, Zhang Juguang entered the high school cram school of Liaodong middle school. Later, he was promoted to the Music Department of Art Department of Liaodong University. In October 1947, he transferred to the Music Department of Beiping national art college to study vocal music. Elegant learning environment, good quality of teaching, so that he benefited a lot. He wanted to continue to study in this art palace to realize his dream of vocal music, but the expensive tuition of 600000 French dollars per month has made him flinch, and finally he had to drop out of school.

During his stay in Peiping, Zhang Juguang, introduced by his father, went to the Islamic church and the Beiping exiled student union of Liaodong University. He came into contact with progressive people and progressive books, and his thoughts began to change. Later, because of participating in the "anti hunger, anti civil war" student movement, it attracted the attention of the Kuomintang authorities. In order to evade the pursuit, Zhang Juguang went to the northeast with several classmates. In September 1948, he entered Changchun Northeast University (now Northeast Normal University). In October of the same year, he officially entered the Music Department of the literature and Art Department of Changchun University to study vocal music. After graduating in 1950, he stayed in the art troupe of Normal University and went to Jilin Jiaohe coal mine to experience life. During this period, through his contacts with coal miners, Zhang Juguang deeply felt the greatness of labor and the amiability and respect of the workers' masters, and deeply educated his thoughts. After his internship, he was officially transferred to the Northeast film studio (now Changchun Film Studio) as an actor, becoming one of the first generation of film artists after the founding of new China.

Northeast film studio has gathered many outstanding famous actors. Their profound performing skills and rich practical experience have greatly opened the eyes of young Zhang Juguang. He decided to study modestly and become a qualified film actor as soon as possible. Because he is a new actor, most of the roles he accepted are extras and mass actors, such as "harvest", "when the grapes are ripe", "defending the fruits of victory", "satisfied or dissatisfied", "in the cloud mountain" and so on. He does not get upset because of the lack of drama, but finds more opportunities to watch it on the spot. In order to improve his performance, he read a dream of Red Mansions, outlaws of the marsh, tempest, torrent, college students and many other famous works at home and abroad. He found books such as actor's Handbook, actor's self-cultivation and his lecture notes at Normal University. He was eager to learn. He has a strong sense of organization, no matter what work is assigned to the organization, he can seriously complete it. For a period of time, the organization sent him to the transportation unit to take charge of administration. Without saying a word, he went to report for duty and soon entered the role. He also learned driving skills, as well as boating, riding and other skills. Through study and practice, he broadened his knowledge, mastered the basic skills of actors, and laid the foundation for future performance.

In 1953, Changchun Film Studio filmed "people on the grassland", and decided to let Zhang Juguang play LV Shouqing in the film. This role was the first complete character Zhang received after he became a film maker. Therefore, he was so excited that he couldn't sleep. He read the script over and over again, thinking about how to shape this character, and taking this character as an opportunity to improve his performance ability and creative level. In his view, a movie actor, whether playing an important role or a general role, even one or two scenes, in a word, should take it seriously and devote himself to it. Therefore, he played the role of LV Shouqing very successfully. At the same time, the organization thinks that he has cultural and professional expertise, but also let him serve as the cultural teacher of the crew. He seriously accepted this task, prepared lessons carefully, organized the crew to learn current affairs, politics, cultural knowledge, copied the blackboard newspaper, organized the crew to carry out ball games, etc., and became an active figure in the crew.

From June 1949 to the early 1950s, Zhang Juguang participated in many dramas in the Northeast Normal University literary troupe and the Northeast film studio. In 1960, Su Li, director of Changying studio, led the actors to live in Guangxi and collect creative materials. After seeing the drama performance of Liu Sanjie according to Guangxi folk tales, I decided to put Liu Sanjie's artistic image on the screen. Huang wanqiu was assigned to play the role of Third Sister Liu, and Zhang Juguang was assigned to play the role of father a Niu, the old fisherman. Huang wanqiu was only 17 years old and had only performed on stage, while the film required a sense of reality and close to life. Huang wanqiu has no experience in the film, so she is not sure about the role of Liu Sanjie in the film. Fortunately, Huang wanqiu is accompanied by veteran actors, such as Zhang Juguang, who plays a-niu's father, Liang Yin, who plays Liu Erge, and Liu Shilong, who plays a-niu. In particular, Zhang Juguang played the old fisherman's father Niu, and played more with the third sister Liu played by Huang wanqiu. When shooting the film "Third Sister Liu" in Guangxi, it was a hot summer, and the crew overcame many difficulties. Because it's an ancient costume opera, you have to wear a headgear when shooting. Zhang Juguang plays an old fisherman with a mustache. As soon as he changes into an ancient costume and puts on a headgear, he is sweating profusely before he starts to perform. After a while, his clothes are soaked, and the soaked clothes can't be worn for shooting. This is a test for Zhang Juguang who grew up in the north.
