Early experience
Bao Qijing's family was very poor when he was a child. Although her father Bao Fang was an actor when he was in the mainland, his left-wing father didn't want to make films in Hong Kong. Bao Qijing and her husband Fang Ping are classmates of the Great Wall actor training class. In 1980, they became famous model couples in Hong Kong's performing arts circle because they co starred in "the legend of the white haired witch". Lian nishang and Zhuo Yihang are separated in the play, but Bao Qijing and Fang Ping are always respectful. There are few opportunities for them to play husband and wife on the screen.
