Zhang fanxi, male, born in Anhui Province in 1987, is a director, photographer and editor. In 2004, high school began to create short films, which was called "17-year-old ghost director" by the media. In 2006, he was admitted to Beijing Normal University with two majors at the same time. During his college years, his short films and MV works were invited to participate in film exhibitions in various places and Hong Kong, and won various short film awards, such as best short film, best director, best MV, etc.
Less than a year after graduation, his first feature film, the independent film flowers for eyebrows, has been shot. This film has been shortlisted for the best film of the Italian Turin Gay Film Festival, invited as a closing film by the Asian gay film festival in Tokyo, Japan, as well as the European and American film festivals such as Boston, Paris, Barcelona and Copenhagen, and won seven nominations for best film, best actor, best actress and best editing at Nanjing Jiangnan Film Festival. In 2011, he went to France and studied in the Higher Academy of visual communication art in Paris and the Higher Academy of film studies in France.
