Character evaluation
The film "forgetful village", written and directed by Chen YuXun, combines the styles of absurdity, satire, quirky, madness, etc. at the same time, it mixes comedy, magic, suspense and other elements to create a unique style with absurdity and childlike interest. The film expresses director Chen YuXun's thinking about reason and nature by telling the villagers' control and anti control of the artifact "forgetting worry" in Yuwang village. The film is relatively objective and describes the state and relationship between reason and nature. However, under the surface of objectivity, Chen YuXun expounds that the non utilitarian natural person represents the living state of man in the gap between reason and nature. However, the non utilitarian is weak and will eventually be unable to save the rational society (comprehensive review of new century drama and Film Literature).
