Chen Hailiang (1908-2007) was born in Fuding, Fujian Province. Graduated from Fujian Institute of technology and trained in the central training group. He was the director of the county library and the director of the public education primary school. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as chief director of Nanchang battlefield cultural service general office, director of Fujian station of the cultural distribution station of the Political Department of the third war zone, Secretary of minhai Rehabilitation Committee, Secretary of minhuan traitor probation group, director of Social Service Department of Fujian Provincial Social Department, director of Fujian provincial government's supervision and time difference, etc.

In 1948, he was elected as a deputy to the first national assembly. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he was wrongly sentenced to 20 years of reform through labor and later rehabilitated. In 1980, he participated in the cultural and historical work of Fuding CPPCC, and later served as vice president of Mindong Taiwan Friendship Association and President of Fuding Taiwan Friendship Association. In 1993, he was elected as the president of Tailao poetry club. He is the author of Zhuo Cheng Zhai.

Character experience

Chen Hailiang (1908 -), who was born in Yuantan village of Guanyang, was the 28th grandson of Chen Jue, the servant of Tanhua in Song Dynasty. A poor family is quick and eager to learn.

In 1931, he graduated from the provincial advanced technical school and returned to his hometown to be the director of the county library and the public education library, and a teacher of Beiling middle school. Later, he joined the army with his pen and participated in the Anti Japanese war. He successively served as the chief director and director of Nanchang General Office of the field Cultural Service Department of the general political department under the leadership of Guo Moruo and he Gonggan, Secretary of Fuzhou minhai Rehabilitation Committee, and chief of social service unit of Fujian Provincial Social Department.

He took part in the Lugouqiao Incident in 1937.

In the autumn of 1942, he was sent to Chongqing central training group for training. The next year, he served as the director of Social Service Department of Yong'an provincial capital of Fujian Province.

In 1947, he was elected deputy and supervisor of the first National Congress of the Republic of China.

The following year, he was employed by the Nanjing presidential office as a member of the central constitutional Steering Committee. Although he is old and ill, he is still in linchi. There is an endless stream of literature lovers and collectors at home and abroad competing for his ink treasures.

Now he is a member of Fuding CPPCC, a member of Fujian poetry society, a director of Ningde Overseas Friendship Association, honorary president of Qilin culture and Art Association and yongbaoxuan art tutor.

Chen Hailiang, now 100 years old, has been a member of the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth CPPCC committees in Fuding county. He used to be the president of Taimu poetry society, and now he is a member of Fujian Calligraphy Association and a director of Ningde Overseas Friendship Association.

Main achievements

He once edited literature and history materials of Fuding county and poetry Journal of Tailao. He is the author of zhuochengzhai remnant manuscript. Chen Hailiang's Anti Japanese feelings

After the Lugouqiao Incident in 1937, Chen Hailiang, then 30, took the lead in signing up with two young people to join the field cultural service office of the Ministry of military and political affairs under Guo Moruo's leadership, vigorously carrying out the cultural propaganda service of the front line of Anti Japanese War and the consolation work for Anti Japanese soldiers in various places.

After the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, Zhou Enlai became the Vice Minister of the Political Department of the Military Commission, and Guo Moruo was the director of the third department. The field cultural service office was directly under the leadership of Guo Moruo, and there were front-line cultural offices in Guangzhou, Changsha, Nanchang and Jinhua. At first, Guo Moruo appointed Chen Hailiang to take over the work of Guangzhou field cultural service office. For some reason, he stayed in Nanchang field cultural service office. Jiangxi was at the forefront of the Anti Japanese war. Although the field cultural service work was difficult and complicated, Chen Hailiang and other colleagues had long put aside the danger and hard work, and devoted themselves to the work, using all kinds of propaganda materials Anti Japanese War, exposing all kinds of crimes and atrocities of Japanese imperialism, praising Anti Japanese heroes and other deeds, and boosting morale. Chen Hailiang and other leaders have made great achievements in the work of Nanchang battlefield cultural service office, which is praised by Guo Moruo.

In 1942, Chen Hailiang was called to Chongqing, where he was received by Guo Moruo and reported his work. At that time, Guo Moruo wrote a couplet and presented it as a gift: "the sea is vast, the water is contained, the moonlight is clear, and the stars are protected." After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Chen Hailiang enthusiastically devoted himself to socialist construction activities and won the trust of the people's government. He was specially invited to serve as a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Fuding County for many times. He made full use of the interpersonal relationship during his past work in the national government, actively engaged in and did a good job in the United Front Work for overseas, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and enthusiastically wrote dozens of poems about Fuding history and Taimu mountain, leaving real historical materials.
