Huo Jianqi
Huo Jianqi, born in Beijing, China on January 20, 1958, is a Chinese film director, screenwriter and producer. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Beijing Film Academy.
In 1983, he was the art designer of the plot film September. In 1986, he was the art designer of the plot movie horse thief. In 1992, as an art designer, the love movie "Dashaba" was released. In 1996, he directed his first film "winner", which won the best director's maiden work award of the 4th Beijing University Film Festival and the best director's maiden work award of the 16th China Golden Rooster Film Festival. In 1998, he directed the plot film "the mountain, the man and the dog", which won the best feature film award of the 19th China Golden Rooster Award and the peacock award of the 31st India International Film Festival. In 2000, he won the best director award of the 21st Golden Rooster Award and the excellent director award of the 7th Huabiao award.
In 2002, he directed the love movie "life show", which was shortlisted for the best feature film of the 22nd Golden Rooster Award. In 2003, he directed the love movie "warm", which won the golden unicorn award at the 16th Tokyo International Film Festival. Character experience
Huo Jianqi spent his primary and middle school career in Beijing Jingshan School. When he was in middle school, the idea of being a film director began to sprout in his mind. In 1976, during the "Cultural Revolution" movement, he went to Huairou rural area of Beijing to jump the queue for a year.
When he took the college entrance examination in 1978, he chose all the majors related to art because of his love of painting. Personal life
From primary school to middle school, Huo Jianqi and Su Xiaowei studied in Jingshan School in Beijing. They were good friends since childhood. In December 1985, Su Xiaowei's sister said that she would introduce her boyfriend Huo Jianqi. In the subsequent exchanges, Su Xiaowei appreciated Huo Jianqi more and more. However, Huo Jianqi doesn't have the same feeling to Su Xiaowei. He always regards her as "the little sister next door". In early June 1986, Huo Jianqi went out with the crew for several months, and Su Xiaowei wrote to him one letter after another, which finally moved him. In July 1987, after receiving his master's degree, Su Xiaowei and Huo Jianqi entered the palace of marriage. In 1989, Su Xiaowei gave birth to his son Huo Liang.
