Gao Linbao, a member of Hong Kong Film Directors Association, is a multi-faceted producer of films and TV series.

Personal experience

Gao Linbao loved drama from childhood, and was enlightened by drama tutor Liang Shijie in his youth. He has served as chairman of Tsuen Wan Youth Drama Club. In 1986, he joined Hong Kong Asia TV as assistant director and was promoted to Director in 1989. In 1992, he joined Wing Shing audio-visual entertainment Co., Ltd. as a director and assistant to the chief executive officer, specializing in television and film production and administration. In 1993, he joined Baoyao film production Co., Ltd. and participated in administration, story creation and film directing. In 1997, he was invited to mainland China to produce TV series. He is now a freelance (film and TV) producer / Director.

He joined ATV Hong Kong in 1986. In 1994, he first directed the movie "who is the killer". He won the most creative award of the first Hong Kong Film Golden Bauhinia Award and was selected as the 1995 Hong Kong retrospective film of the 1996 Hong Kong International Film Festival.

In 1997, he began to produce TV series in the mainland of China, supervising and directing a number of domestic high ratings drama series: young Bao Qingtian (the first one); a foot in the river; young imperial envoy; house rental, etc. He also supervised and directed the main melody Drama: Pentium to the ocean and Geda living Buddha for CCTV. The twelve bronze men of the true little monk won the 1999 China TV Golden Eagle Award for best co production.

In 2008 and 2010, he co directed film skin painting and wall painting with Chan Ka Shang.
